Are your bags made from genuine leather?

Yes, all Mood Muse bags are crafted from premium, genuine leather. We select high-quality materials that are intentionally soft and natural to create that effortless, lived-in luxury feel.

Why does my bag look slightly different to the one pictured?

Each Mood Muse piece is unique. Due to the natural qualities of leather and suede, slight variations in colour, grain, and texture are normal and to be expected. These differences aren’t flaws. They’re part of the bag’s character and individuality.

My bag has suede or raw leather detailing. Why does it feel/look different?

We love mixing textures, and many of our styles feature suede or raw-edged leather. These materials are more porous and can show natural variations or markings. Again, this is part of their charm and not considered a fault.

There’s a mark / light scuff / small imperfection- is this a defect?

No, slight markings, subtle creasing, or soft scuffs can naturally occur during the production process or in transit. We inspect every piece carefully to ensure it meets our quality standards, but please know: Mood Muse bags are not mass-produced or overly treated. Small quirks are part of what make each one unique.

Can colour transfer onto or from my bag?

Yes, Due to the soft, untreated nature of our leathers (especially lighter tones), colour transfer is possible both to and from your bag. Please take care when wearing with dark denim or dyed clothing, and avoid resting your bag on coloured fabrics or printed materials for extended periods.

I wiped my bag and the colour came off- is that normal?

It can happen, especially with light-coloured or delicately finished leather. These bags aren’t heavily sealed or coated in plastic, that’s part of their luxury feel. To avoid this, always blot gently and use a clean, dry cloth. We recommend consulting a leather care specialist before attempting any cleaning.

How should I care for my bag?

Avoid overfilling, which can distort the shape

• Keep away from oils, perfumes, and harsh chemicals

• Be mindful around water, dark clothing, and ink (as these can mark or stain)

Do you accept returns for minor marks or texture variations?

Due to the natural materials used and the artisanal nature of our products, returns will not be accepted for minor variations in leather, suede, stitching, or finish that are within our quality standards. Please read our product descriptions and care notes carefully before purchasing.

Can I return or exchange a used item?

Unfortunately, we do not accept returns on used or worn bags. To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, in original condition, and returned in its original packaging within our return window. For full return details, please refer to our Returns Policy.

Jewellery Care Instructions

Mood Muse jewellery is made to elevate your everyday, but it also needs a little love to stay looking its best. To preserve the finish and longevity of your pieces:

• Avoid water, sweat, and humidity. Remove before showering, swimming, or exercising

• Store in a cool, dry place (preferably in a soft pouch or jewellery box)

• Avoid direct contact with perfumes, lotions, and sprays

• Wipe gently with a soft cloth after wear to remove oils and residue

Note: Our jewellery may feature plated metals or delicate finishes. With proper care, your pieces will maintain their shine and edge season after season.

Shipping Information

We aim to dispatch all orders within 1–3 business days. Once your order has shipped, you’ll receive tracking details via email. We currently ship Australia-wide using Australia Post.

Yes, we do offer international shipping rates and delivery times will be calculated at checkout based on your location.

Returns & Exchanges

We hope you love your Mood Muse piece, but if something’s not quite right, we gladly accept returns within 14 days of delivery.

Items must be unused, in original condition, and returned with tags and packaging.
